In the late 1980s in Đắk Lắk province, our lead engineer - Nguyen Dang Phong made a bold decision to step out of his career comfort zone to pursue his passion for engineering. Leaving his stable position in a renowned factory, Mr. Phong started up a small electrical and refrigeration service shop in his hometown. Despite facing obstacles and having limited opportunities to approach advanced technology, with the electric test pen only – his companion always, the flame of passion was still burning bright.


Back then, when domestic pumps were scarce and the import prices were very high. Mr. Phong realized the potential risks associated with the traditional irrigation methods. To address those issues, he dedicated his efforts towards inventing a better pumping solution that would benefit his compatriot. As a result of his innovative work, he succeeded in producing the first domestic submersible pump with outstanding efficiency and a reasonable price which also contributed to the acceleration of mechanization in the local agricultural sector.

With our potential in creativity in response to our valued partners’ trust, the small services shop had gradually developed into Dang Phong Import - Export Trading Services Manufacturing Limited Company (Daphonimex Co.,Ltd).
