People’s Council present Certificates of Merit to Daphonimex Co.,Ltd; at “Dialogue with enterprises Workshop”

The above information was affirmed by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Ngoc Nghi, who offered Certificates of Merit to honor 7 enterprises for their outstanding achievements and contribution to Dak Lak’s socio-economic development in 2016 at a dialogue with enterprises held by the PPC on January 19th.

The workshop had participation of Mr. Y Bier Nie – Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh – Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the PPC, representatives of Departments, sectors, Dak Lak Provincial Enterprise Association, and nearly 300 enterprises across the province.

Overview of the workshop

In 2016, the PPC directed Departments, sectors to strictly implement administrative reform and Resolutions No.19-2016/NQ-CP and No.35/NQ-CP issued by the Government on supporting enterprises. Thereby, Dak Lak has improved business and investment environment significantly aiming to support enterprises in production and business activities. In 2016, 734 enterprises registered for establishment with registered capital of approximately VND 4 trillion. In addition, 139 branches and 29 representative offices of enterprises inside and outside the province were granted certificates of operation. The number of registered investment projects showed an increase. 64 projects were approved for investment with total investment capital of VND 1,622 billion. 30 projects were being made procedures for approval of investment with total capital of over VND 2 trillion. 10 projects are being surveyed and made procedures for investment registration with total capital of nearly VND 72 trillion.

At the event, leaders of Departments, sectors answered questions related to difficulties and obstacles that enterprises face including land rental costs, tax policies, administrative procedures, labor policies, land acquisition process, accessing loans to develop production, etc. 

Speaking at the Workshop, Chairman Pham Ngoc Nghi commended business community on making every effort to overcome difficulties and develop their production and business activities, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the province. In 2017, the PPC will continue to maintain working schedule with enterprises on every Thursday to promptly solve problems, to assist enterprises in stabilizing their production. Enterprises should well implement their rights and obligations as prescribed, make suggestions on inappropriate policies, register with the provincial Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) for tackling problems. On the basis of enterprises’ recommendations at the workshop, Chairman of the PPC directed the DPI to be the main responsible unit for monitoring, supervising responses to enterprises. Sectors must provide written answer related to settle procedures tardily for enterprises and submit their report to the PPC before February 10th, 2017.
