Recently, in Melbourne, the delegation of Dak Lak province organized an investment promotion seminar with Australian enterprises. The workshop was chaired by Mr. Y Bier Nie, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, alternate member of the Central Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Mr. Tran Ba ​​Phuc, Chairman of the Vietnam Businessmen Association in Australia (VBAA).

Leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and more than 12 typical businesses in Dak Lak province and 20 companies in Australia attended this seminar.

Mr. Tran Ba ​​Phuc, Chairman of VBAA Entrepreneurs Association, read the opening speech and introduced delegates and guests attending the seminar.

At the seminar, Deputy Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee introduced and informed Australian enterprises about natural conditions, socio-economic development situation and potential, advantages of the province as well as projects which give priority to calling for investment in hi-tech agriculture, agricultural product processing, textile and garment industry, wind energy, solar power and services, tourism, ….

In addition to calling for investment, representatives of Dak Lak province also offer a number of preferential solutions for investors such as helping businesses when facing difficulties, implementing land and tax commitments and creating favorable conditions about administrative procedures … etc

At the siminar, Australian enterprises actively exchanged and asked for information relating to projects, investment environment and incentive policies when they invested in the province. Questions were answered satisfactorily by Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee.

Mr. Y Bier Nie, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council answered questions of investors and worked with Dak Lak to learn more about the investment environment. This is a good signal for the economy of the province.

Dak Lak is an economic, cultural and social center of the Central Highlands. It is one of the poles in the development triangle of Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia and also has many incentives on natural resources and minerals, ecology, nature, so that if it is invested sufficiently, centrally, reasonably, the economy of Dak Lak will rapidly develop to become the economic center of the Central Highlands.
